Our Historic Vote
As we look forward to November 3rd, 2010 we think VICTORY. In order to be victorious we need you to participate in this election. Use your Voice and Vote YES for Representation. We are also asking you to call us and let us know that you have voted YES. After you cast your YES vote please call the Get Out the Vote (GOTV) office and share your enthusiasm. We also want you to know why we are calling our members. Please remember that phone banking is a very important part of a successful campaign and election. We want to be successful in this election, we want to win! We want to know that you have received your voting instructions and that you were able to vote. When your fellow Flight Attendants call from the GOTV calling center, the phone number on your caller ID will begin with a 202 area code. Please take a moment to answer the call and tell the caller you have voted. We will be asking if you are willing to share how you voted. These questions are not meant to be offensive or intrusive. We simply want to know where we stand until the final numbers come in from the National Mediation Board. Until that time AFA-CWA and Delta get NO INFORMATION on votes cast. This is why we call.

In contexts of the efforts of candidates, party activities and ballot measure campaigns, "get-out-the-vote" or "GOTV" is an adjective indicating having the effect of increasing the number of the campaign's supporters who will vote in the immediately approaching election.
If you have not received your voting instructions yet please visit www.deltaafa.org. Click on "TOOLS" and look for the *** DUPLICATE VOTING INSTRUCTION REQUEST LETTER HERE on the top left hand side of the page to print out the form needed to send in for a duplicate. The duplicate voting instructions sent are a true duplicate so if you receive the original, you can use that. The VIN and PIN assigned to you can only be used one time.

Annual Open Enrollment is from October 20, 2010 to 11:59 PM Eastern Time on November 18, 2010.
Uniform Piece Replacement Ordering ends October 29th, 2010.
We've learned that the company is going to delay open enrollment for retirees. Retiree Open Enrollment will begin November 4th instead of October 20th, as originally scheduled.
