SUBJECT: Increase The Allowable Meal Expense Amount.

STATEMENT OF QUESTION:

Should the BOD increase the allowable meal expense amounts?

BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Section IV.A.1.c. of the AFA-CWA Constitution and Bylaws Policy Manual provides for meal expenses in the amounts of seven dollars and twenty-five cents ($7.25) for breakfast, ten dollars ($10.00) for lunch and twenty-one dollars ($21.00) for dinner. These amounts do not reflect the reality of meal expenses today.

PROPOSED RESOLUTION:

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Section IV.A.1.c of the AFA-CWA Constitution and Bylaws Policy Manual will be modified to read as follows:

c. Allowable meal expenses for all locations are as follows: breakfast up to ten dollars ($10.00); lunch up to fifteen dollars ($15.00); dinner up to twenty-three dollars ($23.00).
